A POEM A DAY - RED VEINED DARTER


The banks of the river in the Pego marshes were dazzled with flitting dragonflies, flashes of brilliant turquoise blue and scarlet crossing our path. This one obliged by landing for a second, just time to snap its beauty before the whirr of wings as it buzzed away.
