A POEM A DAY - RENEWAL

These trees grow in the Redwood grove at the Royal Forestry Society arboretum near Newtown in Wales.

This sign describes how the trees grew out of a fallen trunk that stayed rooted. They are an example of the tenacity of nature, not just clinging on to life but blooming wherever possible. It is possible to see tiny shoots and leaves growing out of the rooted trunks ready to grow new trees.
