A POEM A DAY - SHADOW WINGS

This was one of four different types of butterflies flying around the trail on the hillside. One was a large white butterfly, the rosemary bushes were covered with tiny blue, grey fluttering butterflies too quick to catch on a photograph whilst I spotted a large, lone red and black butterfly in the oak tree. Despite the cold air, the bright sunlight and buzzing of bees made it feel like a Spring day.
