A POEM A DAY - SWASH

The sounds of nature surround us yet we need to stop for a moment and really listen. Standing by the sea recently I let the sound of the sea trickling through the pebbled beach wash over me, whilst the shrill of the seagulls circling overhead added to the soundscape. The effect was as hypnotic as the unending, rhythmic movement of the waves, calming and restoring.
